Step 1: Open Microsoft Word
Step 2: Click ‘Insert’ in the menu bar
Step 3: Select ‘Symbol’ which is located at the right side end. Then Select ‘More Symbols’
Step 4: Select ‘Latin-1 Supplement’ in the ‘Subset’ drop-down menu
Step 5: Now you can see the pound (£) sign. Select the pound sign and click ‘Insert’. When you click ‘Insert’, the pound sign will appear where your cursor is in place.
